About the Apostille Process
Getting your documents apostilled is simple.
Here’s how our process works from start to finish ↠
-
An apostille is an official certification issued by a government authority that verifies the authenticity of a document for use in another country that is part of the Hague Apostille Convention.
-
We handle a wide range of personal and business documents, including but not limited to:
Birth, marriage, and death certificates
Powers of attorney
Academic records, e.g. University transcripts
Corporate and business formation documents
Notarized affidavits and declarations
-
Before mailing anything, you can scan and email your documents to us. We’ll review them and let you know if they are ready for processing or if any notarization or corrections are needed.
Most apostille processes require original documents or properly certified copies. We will confirm exactly what is needed during your document review.
This step helps avoid delays and ensures everything is prepared correctly the first time.
-
Once ready, mail your documents along with your completed order form to our office address (found on our Contact page).
Please do not write on, mark, or staple your documents unless they have been officially stapled by an issuing authority.
-
We submit your documents to the appropriate State or Federal authorities for apostille or authentication.
Our team carefully manages the process on your behalf and keeps you informed along the way.
-
Processing times vary depending on government agencies. We always provide estimated timelines, but actual completion times may vary due to factors outside our control.
If you need faster service, rush processing options may be available.
-
If documents are rejected due to improper preparation that was previously advised, additional fees may apply for resubmission. If rejection occurs due to government authority decisions, we are not responsible for the outcome.
-
Once your documents are completed, we ship them back to you via secure courier service (typically FedEx 2-Day for U.S. orders).
You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your documents are shipped.
A signature is required upon delivery for security.
-
Your apostilled or authenticated documents are delivered back to you, ready for use in your destination country.
